Nissan GT-R V-Spec delayed

The uber fast version of the Nissan GT-R, the V-Spec which is suppose to be launched somewhere in Q3 this year has been delayed. The new launch date might be later this year or even in 2009.

Instead, Nissan will be launching an interim model called the “Evolution” or S-Tune which is fitted with several of the parts developed by NISMO and fitted on the race-spec version of the GT-R that campaigned in Tokachi 24-hour endurance race.

Also apparently, the launch of the Evolution/S-Tune model will coincide with the release of NISMO’s line of performance parts, due out later this month, and will include suspension upgrades, new aero parts, wheels and tires, along with a revised ECU and a new exhaust system.
