Mazda6 officially launched!

Bermaz, the official distributor of Mazda cars in Malaysia has officially launched the new Mazda6. As posted previously,there will be 2 versions brought in directly from Japan, the 2.0l and the 2.5l.

The officially OTR price would be:

• 2.0l: RM147,912.90
• 2.5l: RM175,570.20

There is quite a major difference in trim and features between the 2.0l and the 2.5l as expected. The 2.5l version features:

• BOSE 8 Speaker System with BOSE Subwoofer
• Leather Seat
• Fully Automatic Sunroof
• 6 AirBag
• “Auto” Lamp & Wiper
• Auto Dimming Button for Rear View Mirror
• “Push Start” Ignition System
• Advanced Keyless Entry
• Both Co-Driver & Driver Electronic Adjustable Seat (Driver with Memory Setting)
• ABS, EBD, AFS (Adaptive Front Lighting System) & DSC
• Separate Climatic System Air-Con
• HID Bi-Xenon Headlight (High & Low)
• Rear Boot - Button Operated from back
• Built-in Antenna
• “Paddle Shift” System
• Dual Exhaust System
• 6-CD In-Dash Changer with MP3 & Ipod Support
• Multifuction Control Setting on Steering (CF-Net System)
• 18″ Sports Rim including Spare Tire
• Body-Color / Sport Type Front Grill
• Fog Lamp

While the 2.0l only features:

• Premium Speaker System
• Fabric Seat
• 2 AirBag
• Keyless Entry with remote control
• ABS, EBD
• Climatic System Air-Con
• Rear Boot - Button Operated from back
• Built-in Antenna
• Dual Exhaust System
• CD Player with MP3
• Black Mesh Front Grill
• 16″ Sports Rim including Spare Tire

Can you guess which is which? In case you can’t, the 2.5l is the white one.

Unconfirmed initial drive reports are saying that the new Mazda6 2.5l is way ahead from the recently launched Honda Accord 2.4l. But I guess the best way is took book a test drive for yourself.
