Evo X MR Vs. WRX STi Spec C

Prepare for the next showdown between 2 rally legends, the Mitsubishi Evolution X MR and the Subaru WRX STi Spec C.

The MR badge actually stands for “Mitsubishi Racing” and not only does it gets a bunch of cosmetic upgrades (note the 2 holes beside the intercooler), power is now up to 305 BHP (up 20 from the normal Evo X). As a result, the 0-100kmh time is now less than 5 seconds.

Not to be outgun, Subaru has just released details on the Spec C edition which not only carries a new bodykit but more importantly weight much less then the standard STi. The Spec C weighs a stunning 70kg less after the diet.

Both models will be arriving in Japan later this year, here’s hoping we’ll see one soon at our nearby Naza World store.
