Reports indicate that a new NSX will re-launched the Acura brand in Europe somewhere in 2010. This new Acura flagship will have its engine at the front powering the rear wheels instead of the previous model’s mid engine setup.

The new New Sports eXperimental’s engine will be a 4.5l V10 that is capable of 550HP. It will be revealed to the public at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Show once the designers have agreed on the design which seems to be the main reason of all the delays. In the end the NSX may look totally different then the concept shown here.

After the launch of the NSX, Acura will be launching all new RWD sedans based on the NSX’s platform to compete with the likes of Lexus, Infiniti, BMW and Audi with the first sedan to be out by 2015 aimed at BMW’s 7 series.
